1. Purpose
These terms govern use of the Swipevent platform by organizers and attendees.
2. Registration and account
Creating an account is free. Users agree to provide accurate information and to keep their credentials confidential.
3. Swipevent's role
Swipevent acts as the organizer's technical agent for collecting ticket payments. The organizer remains solely responsible for the event.
4. Fee
Swipevent takes a 7.5% fee on each paid ticket sold via the platform. Free tickets carry no fee. There is no signup or subscription fee.
5. Payments and payouts
Payments are handled by Stripe. Payouts follow Stripe's schedule, minus the Swipevent fee.
6. Refunds and cancellations
Event tickets tied to a specific date aren't subject to withdrawal rights. Refund policy is up to the organizer, who must display it on the event page.
7. Liability
Swipevent cannot be held liable for the cancellation, postponement or poor execution of an event, which are the sole responsibility of the organizer.
8. Termination
Users may delete their account at any time from their space. Swipevent may suspend an account in case of breach.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts after an amicable resolution attempt.
